Joseph Ross Johnson (born December 27, 1987) is a student at Columbia University and a recent graduate of Danville High School in Danville, Kentucky.

He realizes this page is such a total rip-off of Ralph's, but he just had to make one. They're so cool. Plus, it gave him good Wikipedia formatting experience. Yes, he is a dork.

Ross was born in Lexington, Kentucky. He attended elementary school at the local Montessori school.

Ross appeared in several school theater productions, including To Kill A Mockingbird, Check Please, The Good Doctor, and Grease.

Ross's primary focus in his sophomore, junior, and senior years of high school was forensics competition. He was named State Champion in Declamation at the 2005 KESDA (Kentucky Educational Speech and Drama Association) Forum and State Champion in Radio Speaking at the 2006 KHSSL (Kentucky High School Speech League) Senior State Tournament.

In addition, Ross advanced to the national level of competition at the Catholic Forensic League and National Forensic League each year. In 2006, Ross ranked fifth nationwide in Duo Interpretation at CFL, where he and his duo partner Katherine Nelson performed a scene from Sweet Nothing In My Ear. That year, Ross also ranked sixth in Prose Interpretation at NFL, performing "Jealous Husband Returns In Form Of Parrot," a short story by Robert Olen Butler.

Over the span of his forensics career, Ross won 991 total speaking points, earning the NFL Degree of Superior Distinction.

Ross believes that a safe, sustainable form of economic and industrial development is possible, and he urges progressive, liberal law makers and politicians to step out of their self-selected middle ground and fight for their inherent morals, not more voters.

Ross whole-heartedly endorses American Apparel, Patagonia and Whole Foods Market for their fair and environmentally-friendly business practices.

Ross believes in Logotherapy, not psychotherapy, as a healthy and constructive method of self-examination.

Ross surfs the World Wide Web on his MacBook Pro.

He is the long-time boyfriend/lover/sugar daddy of Katherine Nelson. He's going to marry her someday, you know.

He rocks out to Ben Folds, Coldplay, Dave Matthews Band, David Gray, Death Cab For Cutie, The Decemberists, Elliott Smith, The Format, Frédéric Chopin, Howie Day, Jeff Buckley, John Mayer Trio, Josh Ritter, The Mountain Goats, O.A.R., Radiohead, and Sufjan Stevens on his old-school iPod.

His favorite TV show is Six Feet Under, though Seinfeld is a close second.
