Joshua Hornick

Joshua Hornick is a noted figure in law and education who currently lives in Amherst, Massachusetts. His work has had an impact on the lives of a wide range of successful individuals. (See his entries in Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who in American Education.)
Hornick co-founded the Community Capital Bank, and according to his website, helped "rescue the ailing City National Bank."
In a significant career change, he gave up law and began teaching science and education in New York City. He taught in New York for several years before moving to Amherst where he founded the innovative homeschooling community Pathfinder Learning Center, now known as North Star: Self-directed Learning for Teens.
Hornick continues to serve as Board President of North Star. He also teaches robotics at Holyoke Community College and is active as a leadership coach with CoachVille.
