Josh Klinghoffer

Josh Klinghoffer (October 3rd, 1979) is a musician and music producer from Los Angeles, California. He has played extensively with John Frusciante on his 2004/05 solo works.

Klinghoffer plays guitar, drums, synthesizer, bass, and keyboards, and has appeared on records by The Bicycle Thief, Golden Shoulders, Ataxia, Thelonious Monster, and John Frusciante, including A Sphere In The Heart Of Silence, for which he receives production credit. Josh turned down the chance to tour with Nine Inch Nails to stay with The Bicycle Thief.

Josh has performed live and toured with Jon Brion, Vincent Gallo, and the Butthole Surfers. He toured with Beck in 2003 playing guitar during his "Sea Change" tour, and he also toured extensively with PJ Harvey in 2004 to support her "Uh Huh Her" album. In 2005 and 2006, Josh played with Michael Rother. He currently tours with Sparks and has been spotted playing with Gnarls Barkley.
