Josh Eppard

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Josh Eppard (b. circa 1981) is the former drummer for progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria and currently serves as MC and music maker for hip-hop side project Weerd Science. Prior to joining Coheed and Cambria he was the drummer for another NY-based progressive rock band, 3, along with his brother Joey. Unlike many drummers today, Eppard does not use a double bass pedal instead using a single pedal saying that you get a better groove from one pedal. His playing style consists of using a right handed drum kit but playing like a left handed player (open-handed) with the exception of his foot.

On November 2, 2006 it was announced that Eppard would be leaving Coheed and Cambria indefinitely. Currently, Chris Pennie is filling the spot.
