Joseph Hopper Nicholson

Joseph Hopper Nicholson (May 15, 1770 – March 4, 1817) was an American lawyer, jurist, and politician from Maryland. He represented the seventh district of Maryland in the U.S. House from 1799 until 1806. In 1806 Nicholson was named to the Maryland Court of Appeals where he served until his death in 1817.
