Joseph Dobrian is a free-lance writer who was the Manhattan Libertarian Party candidate for Manhattan Borough President of the City of New York in 2005.

He received 2,891 votes, or 1.17% of the votes cast.

On January 21, 2006, Dobrian was elected Chairman of the Manhattan Libertarian Party.
