Joseph Blaine Johnson (August 29, 1893 - October 25, 1986) was a politician in the U.S. state of Vermont. He was born in Helsingborg, Sweden and became a naturalized U.S. citizen, settling in Springfield, Windsor County, Vermont.

In 1945 and 1946, Johnson was a member of the Vermont House of Representatives, and was elected to the Vermont Senate from Windsor County in 1947. He was a member of the state senate until 1950; from 1951 to 1954 he was lieutenant governor and in 1954 he was elected Governor, an office he held until 1959. In 1956, Johnson was a Vermont delegate to the Republican National Convention.

Outside of politics, Johnson was an engineer and a Congregationalist.
