José Ramón Balaguer Cabrera is the current Minister for Health in Cuba. He is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba and a member of the Council of State of Cuba. Balaguer is one of the six members of the Cuban Government designated by Fidel Castro in his transfer of duties.[1]
