José López Falcón

José Armando López Falcón (born February 8, 1950 in Havana, Cuba) is a Cuban cosmonaut and pilot for the Cuban air force.
in 1967, He graduated from military pilot school "Carlos Ullo" and graduated from Gagarin military Academy.
in 1978, he was selected for the Intercosmos programme and served as backup of Arnaldo Tamayo Méndez for the Soyuz 38 mission.
He is currently the captain of the Cuban air force.
