José Joaquín Palma

Jose Joaquin Palma (1844 - 1911) was the writer of The National Anthem of Guatemala. The anthem was composed by Rafael Álvarez Ovalle and adopted in 1896 as the winner in a competition held by the Guatemalan Government.
