José Guilherme Correa

As a journalist, José Guilherme Correa was a staff writer or senior writer for Correio da Manhã, O Globo, Jornal do Brasil, Arte Hoje, O Pasquim, Fatos & Fotos/Gente, Ele/Ela and Desfile.

As a shortwave radio producer, he was a member of both the BBC's Latin American Service and the Voice Of America's staff.

As a TV presenter, he hosted the talk shows "Cadernos de Cinema" (1978-79) and "Cine-club" (1980), telecast by the Brazilian Rede Brasil, and served as an editor for the programme "Curto-circuito" (Short Circuit) of the same network.

As a screenplay writer, he had two scripts produced "De[sign]industrial" in 1971 and "Paraty: Impressões" in 1973.

As a translator, he translated into Portuguese the books;

He wrote introductions for two books by José Lino Grünewald, "O Grau Zero Do Escreviver" and "Vertentes Do Cinema Moderno."
