José Francisco Barrundia

José Francisco Barrundia (1787 - 1854) was a Central American politician.

Barrunida was born in Guatemala. He led the Revolutionary Party of Guatemala fighting for independence from Spain. In 1829, he became president of the United Provinces of Central America. Later he became minister of Honduras negotiating in Washington, D.C. for annexation to the United States before his death.
