Jordan Tyler

At the age of 9, Jordan Tyler picked up the guitar (along with other instruments) and started playing. He was in a lot of bands during his early music years.
At 18, Tyler, playing acoustic indie rock, performed under the alias of The Adeline Treatment. In 2002, Tyler received a record contract and released his first CD, So Far Away, featuring vocals by Stacy Clark. The CD includes a hidden 20-minute video of Tyler performing additional songs. Tyler joined a couple more bands, and often took over the role of lead singer, songwriter, and bassist.
Tyler's talents shine brightest when performing solo, touring the country with his powerful acoustic-driven rock songs about true romance, heartbreak, and unrequited love. In the last few years, Tyler has toured with, and opened for, hundreds of artists. In 2004, Tyler released two albums: the 5-song independent EP release I Just Don't Feel Like Myself Tonight and then his self-titled 9-song independent release Jordan Tyler, which feature some of the best work he's ever done, and which includes his most popular crowd pleaser "Undone" which has been lovingly dubbed by his fans as "The Ocean Song" because of its sing-along chorus that begins with the line, "How deep is your ocean? / How blue is your sky?"
In 2005, Tyler went into the studio with MxPx lead singer and drummer, Mike Herrera and Yuri Ruley. One of their collaborations, "On My Own," garnered some good radio airplay in 2005, was featured on MTV's The Real World: Austin and released on the JoshuaFest 2005 compilation. JoshuaFest is a Christian music festival held in northern California each year. In the summer of 2006, Tyler perfected his sandwich making skills while working with legendary indie rocker Scott Panther at the Roly Poly sandwich shop in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
