Jordan Club

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Jordan Club is a national white tie dining club in the United Kingdom which encourages men and women, suitably attired (see White tie), to join in the mystical practice of formal dining.

The club is "dedicated to raising the tone", and members of the club take part in frequent formal dinners and publish many papers on a wide range of academic topics.

Although it was founded in Durham, it now also has established chapters that meet regularly in London, Cambridge, Oxford, and New York City.
