[edit] License tagging for Image:KentS 2833.png

Thanks for uploading Image:KentS 2833.png. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 06:04, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Article on Rootstown

Hey, I noticed that you want to split the Rootstown article. Before that gets done, it needs cleaned up real bad. It was vandalized by a few people. Check its discussion page for more. --Rovership27 21:09, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Help, Jon!

Someone has nominated about 20 library articles that I've added for the Libraries in Ohio project to be deleted! I am sick about this. I have spent hours working on these becuase it appears on our project list! Please jump into the discussion here and let them know that this is a Wiki-Ohio project and they should not delete it!!!! delete discussion Thanks!!!!CRKingston 09:20, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

Your response is perfect. Most of the library articles are not fleshed out, they are stubs. I tried to build library articles good bones. They have references and external links. They are not orphans, they have incoming links. They are in the appropriate categories. These articles should never appear on any of the maintenance lists. These are things that new contributors might not figure out they need to do, people who can add meat to the bones but don't understand incoming links or categories, etc. Many of the libraries have lots of interesting stories, like they are located in historic buildings, or they also house a regional museum,, or they offer a wide range of services. Some people have jumped in and fleshed out the stubs. But the bottom line to me is that the Ohio project identified the Libraries in Ohio as a project and should control its destiny. Thanks!
