My full name is Jonathan J. Dickau. I am fairly new to Wikipedia but I consider myself a generalist and I strive to be objective, so I should be well qualified for editing an encyclopedic reference, or to assist others in insuring that the process is fair and even-handed. My degree is in Physics, and I spent more than 15 years in the field of Engineering, but my minor was Music and I have been running a small recording studio (Diverse Productions) for the last 10 years. My current projects include a 3-CD set for legendary Folk performer Pete Seeger, which will accompany the new edition of his book "Where Have All the Flowers Gone?". I am an active member of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Poughkeepsie, NY, and a board member of the Center for Symbolic Studies near New Paltz, NY, which is dedicated to continuing the work of Joseph Campbell in helping create a mythically informed community of individuals.

I'm also an avid enthusiast of Fractals, and a devoted explorer of the Mandelbrot Set. For almost 20 years now, I have been examining the possible connections between the Mandelbrot Set and physical cosmology, with some interesting and promising results.
