Joni Fuller (3 October 1991[1]) is a singer, pianist and violinist from Lancashire, United Kingdom. She was the representative of her country at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2005 with "How Does It Feel?", a song she wrote and composed herself.

Fuller, a member of the National Academy for Gifted and Talented Youth[1] is also a member of Phil Collins’ "Music Foundation" and recently performed at his son's christening. "It was a brilliant experience and I felt really lucky to be part of such an occasion", she said. She is very keen on music and has reached a violin Grade 7[1] and a piano Grade 5[1]. It has also been said that, even before she could walk, she could 'hum' to music.

Fuller attends the Royal Northern College of Music every Saturday where she concentrates on European classical music – although in her leisure time she prefers rock music. Her favourite artists are Tori Amos, Prince, The Rolling Stones and also film music by composer John Williams. Her favourite song is "Pirates" by Rickie Lee Jones.

With the sponsorship of the Little Dreams Foundation she released her debut album "Voices", October 2006, containing 12 of her original songs.[1]

[edit] Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2005

Fuller was the UK's entrant to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2005. She won the British final to select a song, after competing against seven other young talents. Although she got the maximum 10 points from only one region out of a possible six, she won the final with 43 points, two more than her nearest competitor, Ben Smith.

After travelling to Hasselt for the contest on November 26, she competed against singers from other countries across Europe. Joni's mature songwriting style and performance contrasted with other acts and resulted in a 14th placing. The UK have since withdrawn from future Junior Eurovision Song Contests, along with other European countries.
