Jonathan Wells (American football)

Jonathan Wells (born July 21, 1979 in River Ridge, Louisiana) is an American football player who currently plays for the Houston Texans.
He started his career at Ohio State University. Despite starting only 15 of 45 career games, carried 446 times for 2,292 yards and 26 TDs, ranking 12th on the school’s all-time rushing yards list. He was drafted in the 2002 NFL Draft by Houston.
He played high school football at the John Curtis Christian School in his native River Ridge, Louisiana; he assisted the team in capturing 3 consecutive 4A State Championships.
