Jonathan Heawood

Jonathan Heawood is director of the English Centre of International PEN. He is a former deputy literary editor of The Observer and editor of the Fabian Review. He writes on cultural and political issues for a number of publications, including the London Review of Books and the New Statesman. He is working on a book about the cultural history of the British landscape.

He is married to writer Amy Jenkins and they have one child.
