Jonathan Bolaños

Jonathan Bolaños Navarro (born April 22, 1978 in San José, Costa Rica) is a Costa Rican soccer striker who currently plays for the Rochester Raging Rhinos.

Bolaños made his Major League Soccer debut on October 4, 2003 with the Chicago Fire. In his first MLS start on October 26th, Bolaños earned his first point on an assist just three minutes into the match

Bolaños was a member of the 2000 Costa Rican Olympic team, and earned five caps with the Costa Rica national football team during the 2002 FIFA World Cup qualifications. Played with Herediano, a team in the Primera División de Costa Rica and La Piedad (in Mexico), where he led the team to the 2002 Clausura Championship. Bolaños also played for CD Saprissa and LD Alajuelense in 2002 and 2003, (Primera División de Costa Rica). His brother is current Saprissa and Costa Rica national team rising star Christian Bolaños.

He missed the entire 2006 season due to injury.
