Jonathan Banks

Jonathan Banks was born on January 31, 1947 in Washington, D.C. He is a character actor who has had some small roles and some big roles in film and in television.
Some of his movie roles include 48 Hrs., Beverly Hills Cop, Gremlins, Armed and Dangerous, Freejack, and Under Siege 2: Dark Territory. Jonathan Banks has played lots of villains in films. His most recent film to date is the 2006 film Puff, Puff, Pass.
He starred on the short-lived science fiction tv series Otherworld, as Kommander Neveen Kroll. His big role was on the tv series Wiseguy, as Frank McPike. His portrayal of OCB Field Supervisor Frank McPike was particularly believable due to his own law enforcement background; Banks in real-life is a former member of the Greenbelt, Maryland Police Department.
His guest appearances on tv shows range from Matlock, SeaQuest DSV, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (in the episode "Battle Lines"), and on Highlander as an Immortal named Mako in the season 2 episode "Under Colour of Authority" .
