Jonas Kyratzes

Jonas Kyratzes is a videogame designer, known for his four videogames and many articles.

His four videogames are:

  • The text-based The Great Machine, a dark and experimental story about soldiers, war, death, and people faced with hell.
  • The fatalistic but very short Last Rose in a Desert Garden which takes place in the aftermath of a nuclear war.
  • The slightly longer The Infinite Ocean which deals with the concept of existentialism, centered on a sentient computer.
  • The Museum of Broken Memories which deals with a warlike theme, comprising of a number of mini plots from the same 'Story'
- Note that references to previous games can be found in Museum of Broken Memories such as the reoccuring 'Urizen' first mentioned in The Great Machine

Jonas was born in Germany and raised in Greece. He has written several articles on videogames, as well as surrealism and other philosophical ideas. Jonas also has a certificate of grade A Proficiency in English from Cambridge University. He now lives in Frankfurt.
