The Jonas Brothers are a rock band from Wyckoff, New Jersey.
The Jonas Brothers began their careers in 2005 when they were signed to Columbia Records after a group audition.
The group is composed of three brothers: Joseph (17), Kevin (19), and Nicholas Jonas (14). They originally used the name "Sons of Jonas." They released their debut album It's About Time on August 8, 2006.
The Jonas Brothers have been featured on MTV's TRL, with their music video Mandy reaching the #4 spot. The group has also had its music featured in the Nickelodeon TV movie Zoey 101: Spring Break-Up. They performed "(Yo Ho) A Pirate's Life for Me" for Disneymania 4, and were featured on Cartoon Network's Cartoon Cartoon Fridays program. Their dad was in charge of getting the band's record deals. He also aids them financially.
For the newest season of the Disney Channel Original Series American Dragon Jake Long, the Jonas Brothers have recorded their own version of the show's theme song, which was previously sung by Mavin. The music video can be seen on Disney Channel.
Their newest song is "Poor Unfortunate Souls" on the new "Little Mermaid;Special Edition DVD" origally sang by Ersala.

The songs "What I Go To School For" and "Year 3000" are covers from the pop/punk British boy band Busted. The songs replaced two of the songs on their debut CD, "Hey, We're gonna Be Alright," and "Don't Tell Anyone." Both songs were re-written to make them more age-appropriate.
