Jon Turteltaub

Jonathan Charles Turteltaub (b. 8 August 1963) is an American film director and producer. He is a graduate of Wesleyan University and the USC School of Cinematic Arts. On July 6, 2006, he married Amy Eldon, sister of photojournalist Dan Eldon.

He has directed several successful mainstream movies including 1993's Cool Runnings, While You Were Sleeping (1995), Phenomenon (1996), 1999's Instinct, The Kid (2000) and 2004's National Treasure. Turteltaub is also slated to direct National Treasure 2 for a 2007 release.

Turteltaub also directed the first two episodes of the CBS television series, Jericho - "Pilot" and "Fallout".
