Jon Stone

Jon Stone (1931-1997) started working for children's programs in 1955 beginning as writer as Captain Kangaroo. He later worked for Sesame Street as writer & executive producer. He was also the Sesame Street director from 1969 until 1994. Jon died in 1997 of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
