Jon Nourie

Jonathan Clifford Nourie (b. June 11, 1982, Munster, IN) is a Munster High School alumnus credited with being selected in the 38th round by the Chicago Cubs in the 2000 Ameteur Major League Baseball draft. Nourie, selected in the 38th round, attended Western Michigan University before transferring to South Suburban College to pursue baseball. While at South Suburban, Nourie earned All-American honors for his on-field play. Following a year stint at South Suburban, Nourie transferred to Southeast Missourie State University where he would continue his collegiate competition. After establishing promising statistics in his first year at SEMO, Nourie signed a free agent contract to play in the San Diego Padre's organization.
Following his contract with the Padres, Nourie also played with the Gateway Grizzlies of the Frontier League in 2005.
