Jon Herb

Jon Herb (born June 1, 1970 in Milwaukee) is a race car driver in the Indy Racing League. He made his IRL debut in the first race of the 2000 season but didn't compete in any other races that year. He made his Indianapolis 500 debut in 2001 finishing 27th and competing in 5 other races. He raced in 6 more races but failed to qualify for the "500" in 2002. In 2003 he moved to the Infiniti Pro Series where he owns his own team and captured a single IPS win. He attempted to return to the Indycar series and qualify for the 2006 Indianapolis 500 in a Playa Del Racing Panoz, of which he is a co-owner, but was unable to get up to speed and relinquished driving duties to Roger Yasukawa.
