Jon Carnegie

Dr. Jonothan James Carnegie was a schoolteacher at Trinity Grammar School. He is also the writer of Just passing by (portraits of the third world) He has been keen to seek to help the "disadvantaged." He is the founder of a school in High Street, Kew. He is also involved with the Reach! foundation for teens and other charities. (ISBN 0-949873-51-9).
Dr. Carnegie has also written several best selling books including Heroes, Finding Heroes and After the Wave. In 2005, Dr. Carnegie was responsible for working with Trisha Broadbridge in the development of the Boradbridge Education Centre in Thailand. Dr. Carnegie's work has also seen him work with a range of international icons including Mother Theresa, Nelson Mandela, the Dalai Lama, and Madeleine Albright.
As an educator Dr. Carnegie has won several national awards including the Commonwealth Educator of the Year and the National Excellence in Education Award. He is married and lives in Melbourne with his wife and son.
