JOnAS application server

JOnAS is an open source (LGPL) implementation by ObjectWeb of the J2EE specification. JOnAS is a pure Java implementation of this specification that relies on the JDK. JOnAS is a project of the ObjectWeb consortium, which was launched in collaboration with several partners including Bull, the France Telecom R&D division and INRIA.

In February 2005, JOnAS became the first ever open source application server developed by a non profit organization to become certified compliant with J2EE.
