[edit] Germans

Hi Jombo, I agree with you on this and I believe that if there was a vote, User:Khoikhoi's changes would not find enough support.

I have reported him for 3RR violation and uncivil behavior. Anyway, I don't have much time - and even less to waste on people that are acting this way. I'm glad that we have at least not started in an edit war like the one he instigated in the Georgian people article.

I have taken that page from my watchlist, it has given me nothing but grief in recent weeks. However, if you wish to do something constructive about this (e.g. start a vote), I'll support you. You'd have to drop me a line on my talk page though if you needed anything. Best Jbetak 07:57, 5 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] HanWorks Research

Hi there, Jombo, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I notice that you tagged HanWorks Research for speedy deletion, with the reason "WP:NOT". I wanted to let you know that "WP:NOT" is not currently a criterion for speedy deletion. To respect your wishes, the article has been nominated for deletion in the regular fashion, and a debate on it is currently taking place at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/HanWorks Research. I would encourage you to place a vote or comment there. Remember to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~), this produces your name and the date and time. Stifle 11:39, 12 January 2006 (UT

[edit] Junlee

Please stop revising the Super power article without an explanation. If I wrote something wrong, you can wrote me under the discussion page. It is just unfair for you speed delete other people's work. Junlee

I've already written to you on your talk page. Jombo 18:57, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Tony Blair

Because you made some obviously incorrect "corrections" (like changing the plural "Blairs" into "Blair's"). Proteus (Talk) 07:44, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

Fine, then discuss it on the Superpower talk page. Wikipedia operates on consensus, please read the rules. Jombo 03:18, 3 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wood Lawn

Hi Jombo. You recently marked this page as "may need cleanup". I'm new to Wikipedia - any brief hints or direction you might be able to give would be appreciated. Best Woodlawnschool 06:09, 21 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] World War I

I saw you americanized the spelling of World War I. In my opinion, this violates the manual of style which states that articles which "focus on a topic specific to a particular English-speaking country should generally conform to the spelling of that country". The main part of World War I happened in Europe and the United Kingdom was much more involved than the United States. I did not revert it, for (1) some of the edits corrected actual mistakes (e.g. "descriptive" (adj.) -> "description" (n.)) and (2) I wanted to ask you for your view on this.
