Jokioinen

Jokioinen (Jockis in Swedish) is a municipality of Finland.
It is located in the province of Southern Finland and is part of the Tavastia Proper region. The municipality has a population of 5,672 (2003) and covers an area of 182.03 km² of which 1.43 km² is water. The population density is 31.2 inhabitants per km².
The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
A notable tourist attraction is the Jokioinen Museum Railway.
