[edit] Program synopsis

Joker Poker is all about a group of great comedians, competing for laughs and a whole lot of money, in a no holds barred, high stakes game of poker that will ultimately benefit charity.

Each episode features compelling characters, out-witting and out-bluffing each other in an enthralling contest, full of hilarity and tension.

Texas Hold'em Poker is a fascinating game of skill, strategy and luck. Each of the comedians compete to win the “pot”, a share of the large prize pool, that will ultimately benefit the comedian’s charity of choice.

The insight into what’s happening on the table, by world class player and winner of the 2005 Crown Aussie Millions, Lee ‘Final Table’ Nelson, guarantees the audience the ability to easily understand and enjoy the finer points of the great game, as well as having a whole lot of laughs.
