"Joining You" is a song by Alanis Morissette which was featured on her 1998 album Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie. It was released as the second single, in two discs, on March 9, 1999.

The song is notable for its use distinctly "Morissettian" epithets such as "tortured beacon" and "like-minded companions." Morissette implies that the friend who is being addressed has not been spoken with in a long time, but, nonetheless, that she still feels spiritually connected to this person due to the experiences that they shared at youth.

It is widely known that the song refers to a gay friend who is contemplating suicide, because of the damnation that they still receive from others, and Morissette is attempting to persuade the friend to not consider this option. Morissette states that we are more than what we are perceived to be, and if we were not, she would be joining him in killing herself.

A clip of the previously unreleased music video for the song was featured on the 2005 DVD release The Collection.

"Joining You" peaked at #16 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart.
