[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Img_banner_beginning.JPEG

Thanks for uploading Image:Img_banner_beginning.JPEG. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. -- Carnildo 20:43, 31 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Malaysia Airlines page

Hi. With regards to the Malaysia Airlines page, I do not think that the history should be posted as it is lifted off completely from the website. If you think that it is necessary information, please rephrase the entire history and repost it again. Wikipedia should not infringe on the copyright of other websites. -le petit vagabond 08:46, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image Tagging for Image:Logo malaysia.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Logo malaysia.jpg. However, the copyright tag you've used is deprecated or obsolete, and should not be used. This could be because the tag is inaccurate or misleading, or because it does not adequately specify the copyright status of the image. For a list of copyright tags that are in current use, see the "Public domain", "Free license", and "Fair use" sections of Wikipedia:Image copyright tags.

[edit] Image Tagging for Image:Zahir.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Zahir.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Image:Balai Besar.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Balai Besar.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. – Quadell (talk) (random) 18:48, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

P.S. This also applies to Image:Balai nobat.jpg.

[edit] Johor's name

I think Johor is more commonly used than Johore. Johore is a really archaic spelling and I will revert your change. You should also discuss such an important issue before with other Wikipedians. If you check the page's history, I'm sure you'll find that it has been changed form johore to johor because that's the generally agreed upon spelling.Wai Hong 13:04, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
