If you're here, it's because I made too many edits. You can always tell I've been there by the telltale "my typo" on the history. I'm too lazy to use preview? Did it ever occur to you that I might be too BRILLIANT to use preview? Anyway, sorry about that and I hope this won't get in the way of our being allies in improvement of wikipedia.

Yeah. Turns out Wikipedia Is Not A Bureaucracy. Who do I remember saying that? I forget (sarcasm). So I get a barnstar for being warned to follow the rules, then totally not doing that. Life's not fair, is it Yamla? Mwu hah ha!!!

Naive as I was, I became a member to post shots of my favorite actresses, but became disillusioned when I saw a barren wasteland of hideous candid photos and mug shots (not that I care about Kim Delaney, no one does).

My specialty is currently video game articles, but I have branched in TV shows when the climate there isn't too hostile.

I fear only girls and wikipedia administrators.

My very first article is about to merged with Lex Luthor and effectively killed. Nevermind that it originally was part of that article but admins complained about article length. They are impossible to please. --OCT 5 2006

NOTE: It's not really a big deal since I learned from my mistakes and discovered the concept of "weasel words". I don't think I will be forming any more articles. I am strictly going to be an annoying pest from now on.

I am an image vulture. Your jpeg is dying, limping along with unsatisfactory source info and grainy pixels. In I swoop with a slick modern photo and source info a-blazing to put it out of its misery.

Occasionally some stupid, preteen upstart will neuter my gorgeous image and replace it with one of his own mediocre ones. But I am patient. Soon he will run afoul of an overzealous admin, and the coveted image slot will be mine! My only natural enemy is the admin.

I am half-irish / half-iranian, but I am anonymous short white guy. I was born in Jersey but raised in Charlottesville, a college town. It is a pretty place with lots of trees and insane overabundance of bricks. But it's also a post-modern yuppie nightmare, the city government is a joke, and the rent is too high, big surprise. I tranferred to NY to start college and recently moved to Brooklyn, which I loathe. I am 21 but really 12. No respectable college will let me in, my personal life is crap, and if my editing doesn't go well I may start taking shots from the clock tower. There are some cutthroat people out there in wikipedia. They take personal pride in taking perfectly good edits and ripping them in half with their talons.

Seeing a mass image purge isn't pretty and it's likely to dewey-eyed kid into a hard-bitten man.

You won't survive as an editor unless you train to be a wikibadass.

Promotional photos are no longer fair game. Stick to screenshots. Anything else and you'll arouse suspicion and then god help you.
