It is far from obvious what this sentence means: "However his stance is not completely defiant, often outlining the hideousness in the pedantic views of the politically correct". Can the author please have another crack at it ? Gerry Gerbil 15:24, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

"Johnnie shares an affinity with Clapton as they were both born on the same day". Other similarities: both have recovered from Class A drug addictions; both have toyed with the bouffant-gay-hairdresser look; and both were at their creative peak about 40 years ago.
