Watching a Nova special right now, shows him mountain climbing, and the dramatic effects on his physiology are tracked the whole way, estimating his chances of survival. I've missed most of it and don't even know what mountain he's climbing so I can't add anything, but anyone with more info, I think it would make an interesting addition.
