Canadian cancer researchers have studied stem cells because their research budgets aren't large enough for the hi-volume, hi-cost work of molecular biology? (Or so says the G&M 25 Nov 2006...) Trekphiler 06:47, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
- That's the irony of science. Necessity is the mother of invention, not extravagence. Throwing money at a problem won't find the solution, if the money is not targetted in the right direction. It's why small, nimble pharmacuetical companies tend to develop break through drugs, while large pharma tend to only modify existing drugs. MRoberts <> 19:29, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
