Question: the article doesn't say when his naturalisation to Spanish citizenship occurred, and as a result it's not clear for which country he competed in 1999. That's something we should clear up, if possible. -- Finlay McWalter 00:20, 19 Dec 2003 (UTC)

Right-O, done (a quick Google-search helped me out; I thought of this at my first edit, but such is one's sloth, y'know...) :-) I guess the guy technically could compete for Germany until the day of his Spanish naturalisation, although 1) he was by that time thoroughly p-o'ed at the German national team, and vice versa, and 2) practicalities of season would come into play. --Wernher 10:04, 19 Dec 2003 (UTC)
