John Paul Hart (born Golborne 8 June 1928) was a popular footballer and manager.

Johnny Hart played for Manchester City as an inside-forward in 169 Football League matches, between 1947 and 1960, scoring 67 goals. He succeeded Malcolm Allison as the club's manager for eight months during the (1973-1974) season, before retiring following a heart attack.

His son Paul Hart became a successful centre-half and he has also followed his father into management.
