Johnny Bach

John William (Johnny) Bach (born July 10, 1924 in Brooklyn, New York) is a former professional basketball player and current coach. A 6'2" forward/guard, Bach played collegiately at Fordham University. He was selected by the Boston Celtics in the 1948 Basketball Association of America (BAA) Draft, and played 24 games for the Celtics.
Bach would later coach the Golden State Warriors for over three years. He served as an interim coach briefly in 1980, and then as the full-time coach from 1983 to 1986.
As of February 2006, at the age of 81, Bach is currently an assistant coach with the Chicago Bulls.
