John Woodman Higgins

John Woodman Higgins (died in 1961) was founder of the Higgins Armory Museum in Worcester, Massachusetts. Higgins was the founder and owner of the Worcester Pressed Steel Company and a graduate of WPI.

His museum, founded in 1927, is housed in a purpose-built Art Deco, modern glass and steel structure (one of the first free standing steel frame glass curtain wall buildings in the United States) is one of the largest arms and armor collections in the world. It includes major collections of Medieval arms and armor, Renaissance armor, Classical World arms and Modern arms and armor.
