John Weathers

John 'Pugwash' Weathers, born John Patrick Weathers, (born February 2, 1947), in Carmarthen, South Wales, was the drummer for the innovative progressive rock band Gentle Giant.

Weathers took over as the drummer on the band's opus Octopus and remained with them until their last album Civilian.

Weathers went on to play in the progressive rock band Man for a short while, then retired from the music business.
