John Virtue

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

John Virtue (born Accrington, Lancashire in 1947) is an English artist.

He is honorary Professor of fine art at the University of Plymouth and, since 2002, has been the sixth associate artist at London's National Gallery where he has his studio.

He only uses black and white on his work as he sees colour as an "unesscesary distraction"
