John Silvester (journalist)

John Silvester (born 19??) a journalist since 1979 and is currently a senior crime writer with the The Age newspaper. John is also an Author and speaks weekly (as Sly of the Underworld) about police, crime and the underworld on the breakfast program of radio station 3AW.

John Silvester was nominated state finalist for a Walkley Award in 1988, 1996 and a national finalist in 2003, finally winning in the category Best use of the medium in 2004.
