John Schofield (football coach)

John David Schofield (born 16 May 1965 in Barnsley) is the current first team coach of Lincoln City.
Before he was appointed manager he managed Lincoln's youth academy. In his years in charge the academy produced promising players such as Scott Loach, who was transferred to Watford F.C., and Jack Hobbs, who was sold to Liverpool F.C for £500,000. Also, he can be credited for producing the talented midfielder Lee Frecklington, who has been integral to the current LCFC squad.
