John Ribot

John Ribot (née John Ribot-De-Bresac) is a sports administrator and former rugby league player.

John Ribot played rugby league for the Newtown Jets (1978, 1979), Western Suburbs Magpies (1980, 1981), Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles (1982, 1983) and Redcliffe Dolphins (1984, 1985) clubs. He represented Queensland in 8 Rugby League State of Origin matches between 1982 and 1985, the Brisbane representative team in 1984 and Australia from 1981 until 1985 playing 9 test matches. Ribot was the winner of the Queensland Rugby League Press Writers Player of the Year Award in 1985.
