John Reinhardt

John Edward Reinhardt (born 1920) is a retired American ambassador and diplomat.
Reinhardt was born in Vermont. He was the U.S. ambassador to Nigeria from 1971 to 1975, becoming one of the first black ambassadors. He became the director of the U.S. Information Agency from 1977 to 1980. Reinhardt later was a professor of political science at the University of Vermont from 1987 to 1991.
