John Pixley

John Pixley was an 18th century British smuggler and, after his arrest, was sentenced to be executed until agreeing to become an officer in the Custom Service. Following his release from prison, his knowlege of smuggling operations and his ruthless personality would result is a successful campaign against local smugglers in Essex.
