John Palfrey

John Palfrey (b. 1972) is Executive Director of the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard Law School and a Clinical Professor of Law. He is a principal investigator on the Open Net Initiative, a collaboration between Harvard and the University of Toronto and the University of Cambridge that studies the Internet filtering of countries such as China, Iran, and Singapore, among many others. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School, and his parents are the co-masters of Adams House.
